Hoover Soccer Club joined thousands of other organizations during October to raise money and support for Breast Cancer Awareness. Hoover Soccer Club’s competitive teams, along with parents and fans, sported pink t-shirts at the Wolf River Tournament in Memphis, TN in October. The Phantom players played in memory of Roberta Lesley Sexton, mother of Justin Sexton (HSC Director of Coaching), who lost her battle with breast cancer. The “Kick for the Cure” Event raises funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation through t-shirt sales and donations during the month of October.
